What is included in the fee?

At Central we make no attempt to provide you with the cheapest film training, instead we work to ensure that you receive the best training and the most value for money. This means that you shoot mainly on film, that you work on both 35mm and Super 16mm film and that you don’t have to wait until near the end of the Filmmaking Courses to get your hands on 35mm equipment.

Where can I get funding?

There is no getting around the fact that going to Film School is, generally, an expensive undertaking. At Central we believe that this is only money well spent if it launches your career in the film industry, which is exactly what our specialist training is designed to do.

In the UK students on academic, theoretical courses can apply for a government Student Loan. However, students on practical, vocational courses cannot.

Instead, you can apply for what is called Professional Career Development Loan (PCDL) of up to £10,000 from one of the  following Banks:

Barclays Bank
Cooperative Bank
