Pitching Parties
We believe collaboration is at the heart of great storytelling. That’s why we regularly partner with other specialist institutions, such as Point Blank Music School and Fashion Retail Academy, to host Pitching Parties - engaging, supportive events where students share film projects with peers from across the creative industries. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, spark new connections, and gain fresh perspectives.
Collaboration with Target 3D
This year, our collaboration with Target 3D has culminated in The Mechanics of Creativity, an upcoming GenB TV original film and an inspiring testament to community-driven filmmaking. Co-written by our very own BA (Hons) Screenwriting student, Pebbles Gray, and starring BA (Hons) Acting for Screen student Alexandra Scheidt, this project exemplifies our commitment to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers.
Lambeth Fringe Festival
Students from Central Film School have been making their mark at the Lambeth Fringe Festival, showcasing their talent both on and off the stage. Last year, our students delivered a sold-out performance of This Changes Everything by Joel Horwood, captivating audiences and bringing an incredible buzz to campus. This year, we’re thrilled to return with another group of talented performers presenting In Arabia We’d All Be Kings.
Student Societies
Our students are encouraged to start their own societies based on their passions and interests, and each year, our list keeps growing!
From a Writing Club and Film Club to Tabletop Games, Fashion, Dance, and Music, our societies offer something for everyone. These student-led groups provide the perfect space to collaborate, unwind, and connect with others beyond the classroom. Joining societies are a great way to help make new friends and explore your passions outside of your course.
Student Parties
Every term at Central Film School ends with a student party, a highlight of the year and the perfect way to celebrate after weeks of hard work.
These events are always full of energy, laughter, and great memories, giving students a chance to relax, connect, and unwind together before heading into the next exciting chapter of their studies.
