Occupying a former 19th-century music hall, our premises combine historic character with modern functionality. The school houses two spacious studio spaces - Studio A and Studio B - suitable for filming, rehearsals, workshops and events. 

In addition, a fully equipped Post-Production Zone and Editing Suite are available, offering industry-standard facilities for sound, colour grading and visual effects. Together, these versatile spaces provide a complete environment to take projects from production through to final delivery, all under one roof.

Studio Hire

Studio A is a large, flexible space equipped with screening facilities, a virtual production LED screen, and seating capacity for 90+ guests. It is ideally suited for film shoots, premieres, workshops, conferences, or live events that require both cutting-edge technology and audience accommodation.

Studio B comes fully fitted with a professional Motion Capture system, making it a great choice for productions exploring performance capture, animation, gaming, and VFX. Its adaptable layout also makes it suitable for rehearsals, training sessions, or bespoke creative projects.

Our state-of-the-art virtual production facility is outfitted with cutting-edge technology designed to push the boundaries of creative storytelling. Featuring an advanced LED volume and real-time rendering capabilities, this facility offers filmmakers and creators the opportunity to craft immersive worlds and visually stunning narratives. Whether you’re producing a feature film, television series, or a unique interactive experience, our facility provides the tools to create your vision with unmatched precision, that was previously unimaginable.

Post-Production Zone

Our Post-Production Zone was fully upgraded in 2023, to reflect the latest industry standards. Designed for professional editing, colour grading, animation, and sound, the suite brings together high-spec Mac Studios, dual-screen edit bays, powerful Stormforce systems, and dedicated facilities for both audio and visual finishing. Whether you’re working on complex VFX, detailed colour grading, immersive sound mixing, or high-resolution editing, the Post-Production Zone provides a complete, end-to-end environment to take projects seamlessly from raw footage through to the final film.

Please note: All of our post-production facilities include a technical support officer but do not include any specific technical knowledge technicians. However, we can provide additional technicians or specifically skilled technicians if requested. Please contact us for more details.

Colour Grading Suite

Our premiere colour grading suite kitted out with top-of-the-line Mac Studio, equipped with the highest-end M1 Ultra chip, 128GB of RAM, and 8 terabytes of storage specifically designed to handle massive 6K footage. Paired with this setup are our stunning 4K 12-bit BT2020 monitors.

Animation Suite

This suite is fitted with 2 Stormforce Crystal Ryzen 5 RTX4070Ti computers, dual 4K monitors and graphics tablets. The computers both run Unreal Engine which makes them ideal to work alongside our Motion Capture and Virtual Production facilities.

Sound Recording Studio

This setup accommodates numerous audio tracks in Pro Tools, empowering filmmakers to create a unique and immersive soundscape. Moreover, the room is equipped with 7.1.2 surround sound, enabling filmmakers to mix their projects in spatial surround audio, further enhancing the cinematic experience.

Edit Suite

This edit suite also houses a Mac Studio, equipped with the highest-end M2 Ultra chip 10-bit colour grading monitor and an 8-bit Rec 709 monitor, enabling efficient rendering and grading of 4K footage
