Photography
You may bring your own camera or video camera to the ceremony, but please be considerate of those sitting around you if photographing or filming during the event.
Professional photography will be done on the day of graduation if you’d like to have photos taken of yourself, family and friends (however, photo sessions cannot be booked in advance).
Wherever possible we would encourage you to have your photographs taken prior to your ceremony.
Clothing on the day
Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions and therefore smart dress is appropriate. Remember your clothes can be seen under your gowns. Students are welcome to wear traditional or national dress.
Please note that shorts, denim and trainers are not appropriate attire for a graduation ceremony.
Carlie Tufnell Spark Fund
In memory of Carlie Tufnell, a former student of Central Film School, the charitable trust set up in his name has created a developmental fund for new graduates of CFS to support bringing their short-film projects to fruition.
The awarded amount, of up to £10,000, will be allocated through the submission of written bids followed by a presentation, with a shortlist of applicants pitching to a panel made up of CFS staff and trustees of the Carlie Tufnell Charitable Trust.
