Council Tax Exemption

As a full-time higher education student in the UK, you are entitled to Council Tax Exemption.

Council Tax depends on the property you are living in, so being exempt from this can amount
to quite a large saving.

Most councils in the UK will require a letter from your Higher Education establishment to
process your exemption. You can request a letter from us via the Student Experience Hub
here.

Only full-time students are eligible, so those on Short Courses or our part-time MA Screenwriting course will not be exempt from paying.
