Dedicated support for your studies, your wellbeing, and your life at Central Film School
At Central Film School, we understand that navigating your studies while managing personal life can sometimes be challenging. We are fully committed to supporting both your academic journey and your personal wellbeing.
To ensure you have the support you need, students can reach out to the Student Services team to inform them of any issues or difficulties they are currently facing that affect their studies.
What We Can Help With
The team will then either assist you directly, or signpost you to the relevant department to help. Some of the issues you can ask for assistance with include:
- Timetable Concerns: Resolving scheduling conflicts or clarifying your class commitments.
- Documentation Assistance: Helping you navigate and complete official school forms or paperwork.
- CFS Systems: Making students aware of systems in place at CFS that can help alleviate personal difficulties (e.g. Student Support Plans)
- Google Workspace for Education: Providing technical guidance on how to effectively use your student email, Drive, Classroom, and other digital tools.
- Personal Disagreements: Providing an impartial mediator in situations where conflict or disagreement arises between individual or groups of students.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, and whilst there will be certain matters the Student Services team will not be able to assist with directly (e.g. financial concerns, mental and physical health support), we always intend to do our best to support students as quickly as possible.
