While the screen industries are evolving, women remain underrepresented in many creative and leadership roles. From directors and writers to editors, producers, and performers, women bring vital perspectives that enrich and diversify the landscape of Film, TV and emerging media. 

At Central Film School, we’re committed to elevating underrepresented voices by amplifying the creativity, leadership, and impact of women across all forms of visual storytelling.

By celebrating established voices and nurturing emerging talent, we are helping shape a more inclusive and equitable future for women in screen.

Our Women in Screen campaign is a new initiative to empower women in film, TV, and digital media, both in front of the camera and behind it. From the classroom to the set, we’re here to provide opportunities, mentorship, and a vibrant creative community.

Why Women in Screen matters

Despite ongoing change across the screen industries, women continue to be underrepresented in creative and leadership positions.

Access to networks, role models, and opportunities can make all the difference, especially early on.

Our Women in Screen campaign exists to help close that gap by:
