Since 2008, Central Film School has welcomed students from all over the world, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to become professionals in the screen industries.

From BA (Hons) and MA degrees to Summer Camp, our courses amplify independent voices and support students in bringing their stories to life on screen. Each programme prioritises practical, hands-on learning, providing real-world experience with industry-standard equipment and fostering collaboration in a creative environment led by experienced professionals.

As a specialist institution, we are dedicated to cultivating artistic expression, championing under-represented voices, and developing the adaptability and resilience that the industry demands.

After an extensive search for our ‘forever home’, Central Film School moved to its current campus in 2022.

Once a 19th-century music hall and later the home of the Italia Conti performing arts school, the building carries a rich history of nurturing creativity and performance - a tradition we are proud to continue by training the next generation of filmmakers and visual storytellers.

Central Film School is a specialist film institution that will provide you with hands-on practical experience and the essential skills needed to pursue a career in the screen industries.
Accelerated Degrees: All of our undergraduate degrees are delivered over two years, enabling students to save both time and money before entering the industry.
Industry Professionals: Learn and get feedback from screen industry professionals, teaching you the latest practices and methods in film.
Access to state-of-the-art facilities, kit and equipment, such as a modern production & editing suite, motion capture as well as industry-standard cameras.
