Making Your Application
Applications for all undergraduate full-time courses can be made either directly or via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) at ucas.com
When applying through UCAS, you will need the institution code for Central Film School, which is C34. You can find our course codes on each of our course pages or by searching for Central Film School on ucas.com.
Step 1: Write a Personal Statement
Undergraduate
Students can submit an application through UCAS, using the appropriate UCAS Course Code (which you can find on our course pages) or directly through our website.
You will be required to write a personal statement with your application. Your personal statement is a chance to get noticed for the unique talents and experiences you have. It’s an important part of the application process as it’s an opportunity to talk about yourself and your passions, outside of your grades.
You will be required to submit a Creative Work Sample as part of your application. The Central Film School Admissions Team will send out instructions on how to submit this once you have completed your application.
Once you pass all of the initial admissions assessments, you will be invited to a virtual interview conducted by a senior member of staff at the School. Interviews will be held via Zoom.
If your application is successful, you’ll either be made a ‘conditional’ or ‘unconditional’ offer.
A ‘conditional’ offer means that your place is pending until we receive any further information required, such as exam results and certificates.
An ‘unconditional’ offer means that you have met the entry criteria for the course.
